I have been in Law Enforcement for 8 years.  After starting in the Natrona County Detention Center, I left to become the seasonal resident State Parks Ranger at Independence Rock State Historic Site.  I removed myself from L.E. full-time, to work with “at risk” students in the Douglas District 1 school system, but during this time, I was active in the Natrona County Sheriff’s Reserve program.  I worked for Wyoming State Parks as Assistant Superintendent and L.E. Ranger at Seminoe State Park until fall of 2005, when I moved to Douglas and became a Deputy with Converse County Sheriffs Office.  I held this position until the election of Sheriff Becker, who installed me as Undersheriff on January 2, 2007.
I have taken an Oath to Protect and Serve the citizens of this county and to uphold the Laws of this State and Country.  I take this very seriously, and at the same time strive to improve service and interaction between Citizens and the Office of the Sheriff.

Jail Administrator

I have been in Law Enforcement for 9 years, more than 8 of those here at the Converse County Sheriff's Office.  Prior to starting with the department I worked at the Wyoming Womens Center in Lusk for six months.  I started with the department in December of 2001 as a Detention Deputy. In 2004 I was promoted to Detention Sergeant and in March of 2006 I was assigned to Detention Lieutenant/Jail Administrator. I moved to Wyoming in 1981, worked for Natrona County School District #2 in Casper for 4 years, then moved to Douglas in 1985.  I was then hired by the Converse County School District #1 and worked in several different positions within the district for 17 years.

I have always found helping others both rewarding and comforting. Be it a kind word or just listening to others concerns. A large part of our responsibility in law enforcement is helping those in need, not just pulling criminals off the street. This is part of our philosophy here at the Converse County Sheriff's Office.
